Ministry happens in neighborhoods, workplaces, homes, schools, church—wherever we go. Wherever we are or go there we
are ministers, ambassadors of Christ, His witnesses. If not then we have compartmentalized our lives into areas where God
reigns in our lives and other where He does not. The key is always be open to and being aware of what God is doing around us,
so we can be a part of what God wants to do through us. Wherever we go there are signs, evidence of God’s activity. In whatever
situation we are in there is opportunity to get in on what God is doing.
A couple of the ministries we have to bless the community in the name of Jesus are the community garden and Brush Busters.

Community Garden We know the cost of fresh produce is expensive, so as a ministry to the
community we distribute FREE produce from our community garden. When in season we
have set Saturdays at 10 a.m. as the distribution day. Depending on what comes in and
can be harvested we will have tomatoes, green beans, carrots, onions, yellow squash,
cucumbers, zucchini and more to distribute. When we have something to distribute you will
see a sign posted near the corner of 15th St and Highgrove Rd. We hope this will be a
blessing to you and your family.

If you would like to de-weed, water and work in the garden. We welcome you to join us on
Saturdays. If you are interested in being involved or have questions please contact us.
Brush Busters Depending on the size of the job we help those who don’t have a means
(trailer, money, truck, etc) to haul off brush, garbage and yard waste free of charge. Please
contact us if you we can help you in this way.
Ministry Partnerships
Doctor’s House Project NMI 100 Year Anniversary Project- The KC District NMI Council has
selected the construction of a new Doctor’s House at the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in
Papua New Guinea as our project. Goal- $2000. We have reached our goal!
Women’s Clinic of KC We support the clinic financially each month as well as through
special projects. For more information about the Women's Clinic of KC visit www.

Grandview Assistance Program- We collect canned goods and other food items for the
G.A.P. as a way to minister in Christlike ways for the relief of those in need. For more
information about the G.A.P. visit www.gapcares.org
